QHSE Award to PetroMarker

Discover Petroleum have handed over their 2007 QHSE award to PetroMarker. Lars Bjerke, CEO of Discover Petroleum, indicated that his company had been impressed by the way such a new organization had successfully tackled the various QHSE matters and particularly the safety challenges linked to offshore operations. He added that the award was for PetroMarker as a whole, and that it was not a signal to rest on PetroMarker’s laurels. Trond Hofseth, Managing Director of PetroMarker, thanked Discover Petroleum for the recognition of the good work and assured Lars Bjerke that it is PetroMarker’s intention to live up to its QHSE policy and to further improve the performances, at a time PetroMarker is rapidly growing and adding more offshore spreads.

The Discover Petroleum’s award is designed and produced by an artist from the Tromsø area in Northern Norway. Made of various type of glass, it bears the following inscription: 2007 Discover Petroleum’s QHSE Award – To PetroMarker in recognition of their proactive and systematic QHSE work during the PM07 campaign.
