Survey lay-outs (typical)

As Petromarker operates with short offsets (near zone) and pulses while stationary, the survey lay-outs do not look like what one is used to see. In particular, long lines outside the target are not necessary.   

Here are three typical survey lay-outs:

1- Single line configuration with in-line pulsing (4 receivers)

2- Parallel lines configuration with centre pulsing (4-6 receivers)

3- Parallel lines configuration with centre and broadside pulsing (4-6 receivers)

The blue triangles show the positions of the receivers (tripods).

The red circles show the pulsing positions.

The receivers positions are "rolled-over" as suggested by the blue dashed lines.
